The Story
The mists are thinning. The truth is bleeding through.
War has returned to Bharat, not with a roar, but with the cold precision of ancient technologies and reawakened armies. The Chosun, once thought vanquished, march across the sands with unrelenting brutality - their commanders are not men, but Makers, gods of blood and circuitry who have no place in the new world.
As alliances fracture and cities fall, the Goptri of the Mists must navigate treachery from without and rot from within. Forgotten warriors rise from obscurity, old enemies become uneasy allies, and long-buried secrets claw their way into the light.
In a world crafted by science and scarred by myth, survival won't be won with weapons alone. The war for tomorrow will be fought with memory, identity, and the choices no one ever wanted to make.
This world is our world and not. It is our future, and not. When multiple nuclear missiles can rightly be used as an example of subtle persuasion it becomes a testament to the deep, and twisted, humor that permeates this series. The fact that a gay wedding is the capstone for a bloody revolution is a perfect example of how dichotomies constantly intertwine to tie every story thread together. All in all, this is world building, and story telling, at its finest.Sarah G., PHD
